From this grounding, architecture and interiors give rise to moments of wonder, capable of operating at an iconic scale while remaining deeply attentive to human perception and sensibility.

Guided by a balance between context, wonder and timelessness, the studio designs destinations, architectures and interiors that resonate both collectively and intimately, and are conceived to endure.

Founded in Paris in 1999 by Lotfi Sidi Rahal as POD Lab, the studio began as a research platform dedicated to experimentation across space, objects and contemporary ways of living. Early work explored new forms of expression through installations, exhibitions and experimental projects, presented in major international cultural institutions and museums.

This period of research established a culture of inquiry, authorship and cross-disciplinary exploration, attracting attention from both the cultural and luxury worlds. In 2005, this foundation naturally evolved into Atelier POD, extending the same experimental sensibility to architecture, interiors and place-making at a larger scale.

Over time, the studio expanded toward luxury hospitality, retail and high-end residential projects, while preserving its original commitment to context, imagination and precision. This continuity between cultural experimentation and built work remains central to the studio’s identity today.

Atelier POD is a multidisciplinary studio bringing together architects, interior designers and creative collaborators based in Paris, Casablanca and Dubai, working across scales and disciplines. The team is structured to combine conceptual clarity with technical expertise, ensuring continuity from early vision through design development and delivery.

Projects are developed through close collaboration with clients, brands, operators and consultants, with particular attention given to context, precision and execution. Long-standing collaborators and a shared culture of rigor, sensitivity and responsibility support the studio’s ability to engage with complex international projects over time.
